Review, develop and implement safety & health procedures and procedures for the organisation and construction sites.
Conduct training for employees with regard to safety & health on the workplace.
Advise management on relevant training requirements for employees.
Conduct risks assessments and weekly safety & health inspections on all sites and submit relevant reports to management.
Schedule regular safety & health committee meetings for all sites and head office.
Ensure compliance with all safety & health regulations for office, sites and guest hostels.
Apply for all relevant permits with concerned authorities and make necessary follow up until obtaining of permits.
Develop effective communication lines with the workforce with a view to develop a safety & health culture within the organisation.
Other duties as may be assigned from time to time by management.
Diploma or BSc Holder in Occupational Safety & Health with work experience.
Team player with a sense of initiative.
Good communication skills both spoken and written.
Ability to drive projects and innovate.
Driving license and own vehicle.
Will be required to be on call with a view to attend to issues pertaining to foreign workers after normal working hours and during weekends.
