Our client in the Reinsurance Broking is seeking to recruit a dynamic Financial Controller who will report to the CEO. The incumbent will be responsible for leading the finance function.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis:
Developing and managing budgets, forecasting future financial performance, and analyzing variances.
Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the company's overall goals.
Contributing to the company's strategic planning process and providing financial expertise.
Monitoring and managing cash flow to ensure the company has sufficient liquidity.
Evaluating and recommending investment opportunities.
Manage the company's capital structure to optimize financial costs.
Assess the company's funding requirements, considering factors like growth plans, operational expensed, and potential acquisitions.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:
Prepare and report financial statemens in accordance with accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Implement and maintain strong internal controls over financial processes.
Oversee the audit process and ensure compliance with audit requirements.

Leadership and Management:
Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support.
Communicate financial information to the CEO, board, and other stakeholders.
Identify and manage financial risks.
Provide financial advice and recommendations to the CEO and board.
Manage relationships with vendors and financial institutions.
Act as a key point of contact for investors, building relationships, and communicate the company's financial performance and future prospects.
Negotiate with investors, lenders, and other financial partners, to secure favorable funding terms.
