Our client in the Mechanical and Structural Engineering is seeking to recruit an Accounts Clerk who will report to the Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
Input data accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
Handle all accounts receivables and payables matters and documents.
Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements.
Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database.
Maintain a database, ensure that records are complete and accurate.
Research, track, reconcile and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.
Issue schedules from accounting software, prepare schedules on excel for monthly management accounts, yearly audit schedules and others.
Adhere to established standards, procedures, accounting principles and applicable laws.
Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
Ensure that accounting activities at the level of the department runs smoothly and efficiently and associated returns are filed on a timely basis with the authorities.
Perform any other cognate duties that would normally upon a job holder of your category.
what you need to know
Profile:
ACCA Level 1.
Experience in a similar position.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Knowledge in SAP ERP Business One (software) will be an advantage.
Team Spirit.
Ability to meet deadlines and details-oriented.
